Maja Kujundzic, RD - Licensed Registered Dietitian - Nutritionist

She completed her Bachelor of Human Kinetics in Kinesiology with Movement Science Major with a Psychology minor. After completion of her bachelor’s degree, she moved on to graduate from Brescia University College with an Honors Specialization in Nutrition and Dietetics. She completed her Diploma in Dietetic Education and Practical Training with various practicum placements in oncology, general surgery, primary care, long-term care and public health.

As a Registered Dietitian, she has worked in various areas of primary care, acute care and post-acute care settings. Her expertise is in metabolism and diabetes, complex medical care, stroke rehab, weight management and mental health.

As a Registered Dietitian, her objective is to guide clients toward understanding that the food we eat should be both nourishing and delicious. The most rewarding part of dietetics for Maja is the experience as she views clients gain confidence with their own nutrition care, resulting in improved health outcomes and overall quality of life.

Shifa Malik, RD - Licensed Registered Dietitian - Nutritionist

Shifa Malik is a Registered Dietitian with a Bachelor of Applied Science (with distinction) in Nutrition and Food from Toronto Metropolitan University. She completed her Diploma in Dietetic Education and Practical Training (DDEPT) at Western University. Shifa has gained diverse clinical and community experience through placements at LMC Diabetes and Endocrinology Centre, Eatonville Care Centre, Credit Valley Family Health Team, Diabetes Canada, and the acute care units (medicine, surgery, and ICU) at Credit Valley Hospital. She is a licensed member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario and an active member of Dietitians of Canada.

Over the years, she has had the privilege of working with hundreds of clients, supporting individuals with heart health, diabetes management, liver health, digestive issues, and weight concerns. Her areas of expertise include type 2 diabetes, weight management, and heart health.

Shifa’s approach is centered on balance and the enjoyment of food. She believes in helping clients achieve their goals while still enjoying the foods and traditions that matter to them. When she’s not working with clients, Shifa enjoys experimenting with new recipes, going for walks, travelling, and spending time with family.

Jessica Pfile, RD - Licensed Registered Dietitian - Nutritionist

Jessica graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition (BScFN) at Western University and went on to complete the Diploma in Dietetic Education and Practical Training (DDEPT), an intensive post-graduate program combining advanced academic training with over 1,250 hours of supervised clinical and community experience. 

Jessica completed clinical rotations across a variety of hospital and community settings, primarily at London Health Sciences Centre’s Victoria Hospital, where she gained experience in renal health, internal medicine, surgery, and cardiology. She also completed placements in long-term care and at the diabetes centre at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. In the community, Jessica delivered cooking classes and nutrition education programs for youth, helping build practical and balanced eating habits. 

For more than six years, Jessica has worked as a counselling dietitian, helping thousands of clients improve their health through personalized, evidence-based nutrition care. She has experience supporting a wide range of nutrition concerns across all services offered at our clinic, with particular interest in body composition optimization, blood sugar regulation, gastrointestinal and gut health, athletic performance, and reducing insulin resistance and inflammation. Jessica is passionate about creating sustainable, individualized strategies that help clients feel their best and achieve long-term results. 

Jessica believes nutrition should feel empowering, not restrictive or overwhelming. Her compassionate and non-judgmental approach helps clients feel comfortable and motivated throughout their wellness journey. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys trying new recipes, staying active, and spending time with her dog.

Daniella Alcamo, RD - Licensed Registered Dietitian - Nutritionist

Daniella completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Human Nutrition at the University of Guelph, after which she earned her Professional Master’s Diploma in Dietetics through Toronto Metropolitan University.

As a Registered Dietitian, her professional experiences thus far have included specialized nutrition care to renal and oncology populations within outpatient programs, as well as supporting a wide range of inpatient cases in the emergency department at Brampton Civic Hospital. Daniella completed the majority of her dietetic internship at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, where she gained experience in various clinical settings, including the neurovascular ICU, veterans centre, and outpatient diabetes clinic to name a few.

These diverse clinical experiences strengthened her existing passion for one-on-one nutrition counselling and education — an area she continues to focus on through her work within Etobicoke Medical Centres family health team. Daniella is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with clients and empowering them to achieve sustainable health goals, regardless of their lifestyle, resources, or starting point. She takes an individualized approach to care, creating personalized meal plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Outside of work, Daniella enjoys visiting local farmers’ markets, staying active at the gym, trying new restaurants, and watching movies — especially horror films.

Clinic managers ensure that all Registered Dietitians are following the guidelines set forth by the College of Dietitians of Ontario and Mint Nutrition Clinic. They also ensure that appropriate patient care is being implemented, and that all staff and patients are following the clinic's 'Code of Conduct' and policies at all times.
