Prianka Rodé - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Prianka is a Registered Dietitian who is dedicated to improving the health, well-being, and satisfaction of her clients through individualized counselling and comprehensive nutrition plans.

She completed her Bachelor of Applied Science with Distinction in Applied Human Nutrition at the University of Guelph, then obtained her Diploma in Dietetic Education and Practical Training at Brescia University College. She completed her practical dietetic training with Hamilton Health Sciences at various sites including McMaster Children’s Hospital, St. Peter’s Hospital, and Hamilton Public Health.

Prianka completed her practical training with a focus in paediatric nutrition, but has experience working with clients of all ages and with various health conditions including type 1 and 2 diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, malnutrition, and cystic fibrosis. She also has experience leading practice-based research in community food literacy and food accessibility.

Prianka is passionate about sharing nutrition knowledge with others through one-on-one counselling and group education sessions. She works closely with clients to achieve their nutrition goals and values the importance of client-centred care and treating others with compassion and respect.

Prianka is registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and is an active member of Dietitians of Canada.


Sarah Casciato - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Sarah is a Registered Dietitian who is devoted to helping others obtain their health and wellness goals through the power of food and nutrition. She is a licensed practitioner with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and a member of Dietitians of Canada.

Sarah received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph. She then went on to obtain a Masters of Health Science in Nutrition Communication from Ryerson University with an accredited Dietetic Internship.

She has a wide range of dietetic experience in clinical, community, and industry settings. She carries an expertise in a variety of nutritional concerns and conditions including weight-loss, plant-based eating, cardiovascular disorders, diabetes, IBS, IBD, pregnancy, and picky eating, among many others. She has a rich background in leading one-on-one counselling sessions, group education classes and nutrition workshops to diverse populations.

Sarah utilizes her nutrition and communication expertise to work with clients to develop individualized, evidence-based nutrition goals in order to make recommendations that are both effective and sustainable. She values taking a client-focused approach to her practice to ensure nutrition interventions are centered around the lifestyle, preferences, and needs of her clients.


Karen Sevong MScFN RD CDE CPT - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Karen has a Masters of Science Degree in Food and Nutrition, and is an active Registered Dietitian in her community. In addition, Karen is also a Certified Diabetes Educator with a Certified Insulin Pump Trainer Certificate. She aims to empower clients to optimize their health through nutrition.

Karen achieved her Bachelor of Science Honours Specialization in Food and Nutrition at Brescia University College, an affiliate to Western University. She continued to pursue her Master’s of Science in Foods and Nutrition with an accredited Dietetic Internship. She obtained her Certified Diabetes Educator Certification and Certified Insulin Pump Trainer Certificate.

Karen has a wealth of experience in various clinical and population healthcare settings including diabetes, kidney disease, heart health, weight management, gut health, nutrition in aging, among others. She has shared her nutrition knowledge as a healthcare provider and educator. She has provided one-on-one counselling, cooking classes, group education classes, and grocery tours to diverse patient populations. Additionally, she has conducted and disseminated clinical nutrition research on sarcopenia in the aging population at an international conference. She has experience as a Preceptor to Dietetic Interns and as a Course Assistant for undergraduate nutrition courses.

Karen offers a holistic and evidenced-based approach in delivering client-centered care at Mint Nutrition Clinic. She works collaboratively with her clients to create sustainable lifestyle changes and considers the impact of nutrition on physical, social, and mental health and wellness. She focuses on setting small incremental goals that are realistic and achievable when developing individualized nutrition care plans and recommendations for her clients. Karen is registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and is an active member of Dietitians of Canada.


Gabrielle Deveaux RD - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Gabrielle is a dedicated Registered Dietitian who is passionate about helping others through improving their health and quality of life, with the power of nutrition.

She obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Human Nutrition at the University of Guelph, then pursued her accredited dietetic internship training at St. Michael’s Hospital in partnership with Ryerson University to obtain a Professional Masters Diploma in Dietetics (PMDip).
She has well-rounded experience in various areas of dietetics, collaborating with medical teams to provide comprehensive nutritional care to diverse patient populations. Gabrielle has specialized training in gastroenterology, diabetes, kidney disease, paediatrics, heart disease and weight loss counselling. She has shared her wealth of nutrition knowledge by providing one-on-one counselling, cooking demonstrations, group education classes, and by conducting a clinical research study about malnutrition screening.
Gabrielle brings an evidence-based, client-centred approach to Mint Nutrition Clinic, working collaboratively with clients to achieve their individual nutrition goals. Her personalized treatment plans focus on developing a positive relationship with food and making sustainable behaviour changes to create a well-balanced lifestyle.

She is currently licensed with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and is an active member of the Dietitians of Canada.


Avish Hosseini - General Manager

Avish holds a Bachelor of Applied Science, Nutrition and Food, Ryerson University. This dietetic education program is an accredited program recognized by the Partnership for Dietetic Education and Practice (PDEP) and prepares students for eligibility for registration with a provincial dietetics regulatory body.

Avish is the General Manager and Professional Nutritionist at the Mint Nutrition Clinic, and she is dedicated to helping our clients reach their goals and obtain the highest quality of life that they can. She is formally trained in dietetics and nutrition counselling from Ryerson University, and her approach to nutrition counselling is evidence based, comprehensive, individualized, and innovative. She is passionate about the field of evidence-based nutrition, and she is an active member of the nutrition professionals community in Toronto.  Avish really cares about the long-term success of the clients at Mint Nutrition Clinic, and works very closely with them to make sure she is always there when they need her support.

Avish’s qualifications have been achieved during the time that she has spent at Ryerson University, completing a Bachelor’s of Applied Science, Nutrition and Food degree, while also volunteering and working in the field of nutrition to gain a multidimensional view of nutrition counselling and dietetics. Her program at Ryerson University is PDEP accredited by The Dietitians of Canada and she has spent time learning and studying from prominent Canadian dietitians.
